CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:

Community Liaison
East Valley Senior Services, Inc. (EVSS) is seeking a person who is focused on marketing directions that will directly support the organization’s services through business relationships, public relations, web site & newsletter and act as our Community Liaison.

Responsibilities of this position include:
·  Development and coordination of the marketing, promotion of programs and services offered by EVSS.
·  Responsible for the branding of the organization in written information including managing the organization's website. Write copy for assigned publications, press releases, feature stories and advertising.
·  Responsible for the marketing aspect of the Holiday Meal Campaign, Mother’s Day Campaign and Beat the Heat (Apache Junction) i.e. direct mail, volunteer recruitment, sponsorships, donor management, data entry, etc.
·  Represent EVSS at community events (i.e. senior expos, health fairs) and promote EVSS with various community committees (i.e. Mesa Life Options, Senior Resource Group).
·  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 Skills / Requirements
·  Excellent oral/written communication skills required.
·  Strong computer skills, including knowledge with Word, Excel, and Power Point.
·  Ability to complete a high level of detail and multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis.
·  Ability to take initiative to accomplish project tasks as needed and to apply skills and knowledge to new applications.
·  Ability to work in team environment, requiring participatory decision-making/cooperative interactions.
·  Ability to maintain flexible work schedule (occasional evenings and weekends).
·  Familiarity with senior networking groups.

Salary range: 
$30,000-$35,000 dependent on experience

PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Location:  Apache Junction Senior Center

Plans, develops, and implements programs
at a senior center. Recruits, trains, and schedules volunteers. Must be dependable, flexible and work well with people. Computer skills.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Salary range $9.50-$11.00/hour, depending on experience.
